Dawn studied in Montreal at the Mtl. Museum of Fine Arts, the Valentine School of Commerical Art, Concordia University(BFA)- has exhibited widely in Europe, Canada and the US with works in many international collections.

Prisoners of Hope:

I believe there's a light children know about, that we all knew about as children. Drawn into life's intricacies we become confused by appearances. We seem to lose the gift of seeing in the old way but the light is there. Throughout life we catch glimpses, are reminded and somehow refreshed when it happens. I explore the nature of this light. The Prisoners of Hope group of paintings enters the arena. The title is from: "Return to your stronghold O prisoners of hope." (Zech. 9:12)
