i install these alot in peoples houses, and they really are amazing. they also make a version that has a speaker built in like a boombox, but uses the sonos controler, so if you had that in your living room, but then decided you would rather have it in your kitchen, its a 5 minute move, and you can still control it from anywhere in the house

Sonos has really come into its own over Christmas when we were able to play Christmas carols - music and even Handel's Messiah. While we have an extensive CD library we were so pleased to be able to download and play all this seasonal music. Sonos is terrific.

i have a couple of questions.
1. can it play a CD, cause if it can't then this is just stupid
2. what does the system include. like does it have speakers and if it does how many do you get.
3. if it can access the internet can it access youtube?
4. how much does it cost?

Android totally dominates the market. Why do all device makers have a iDevice app and no Android one? It seems really nice but I won't buy it beceause of this :( I prefer using a small box with xbmc, it's harder but it works on Android and Ubuntu Linux

Not only is this system extremely easy to set up (if you can turn you computer on and read email, you can set this up) the sound quality is good but the real payoff for me is the amount of music you have access to through internet radio stations or streaming sources like Pandora, MOG, Spotify, etc. I found that I re-discovered music I hadn't listened to in years and rediscovered music that I loved. There is rarely an hour in the day that I am not using and loving Sonos.

@jerrydff7 Jerry, there is a time built into the system that is easy to set as a sleep timer or as a wake up for the system

@TheDISNEY365 Yes you can. By using a ZP120 zone player in a room you wish to have in ceiling speakers and running the wires from the zone player to the speakers in the ceiling. It still requires running wires but you can put the ZonePlayer in an area that is convenient for you to get wires to. For instance I have put them in closets (but remember you will need to have power present wherever you place a Zone player) This system is by far the easiest to install.
