Paul McCartney - Helter Skelter

Ozzy Osbourne, members of Judas Priest and many other definitive metal bands have said the very same thing.

The older McCartney gets, the more I respect him. Any musician who has covered this song knows that you have to play it balls-to-the-wall. There are at least three generations of people in the crowd jumping up and down during this song.

Rock and roll would not be what is today were it not for this song.

I admit I'm a little young for the beatles,but I still think Motley Crue does a better job on this song

I learned my chops on the Motley Crue version as well, which is much better than most of the covers. What makes the Beatles the kings, though, is that they created this when, if anybody else had even though of it, they didn't dare play it; not only that, but, it's still around and new generations still hear it and turn it the f'ck up. Awesome.
