i loved the shooting in far cry 2 but i HATE the driving.. its so annoying...

Just to be clear, that's not how we think about games. We are always happy when a good game comes out that's better than a previous game. Having an irrational loyalty to a game is fanboyish, and we don't roll that way.

@gangsta0lemon you must not play much else than spyro games in that case. the plot was stupid and basicaly copied god of war, the voice acting was decent but i have seen better on ps1 games, the upgrading was nothing special, the characters where boring and could have been much better, plus they wherent ripping on the game because it copied god of war, they where ripping on it because the game sucked and based on how previous spyros where, they had to point it out.

Dude, I'm not gonna lie, I like....legit start tearing up when I watch these. I missed a lot of these episodes due to school, and I'm watching them and it feels like a new episode for me only because I've never seen it.
But then that realization that this is over 2 years ago and that you no longer do weekly shows.... :'(

Seriously?? The new Spyro games are destroying my childhood. You don't take a platfromer and make a god of war clone. How can someone defend Dawn of the Dragon?? it was terrible.
The Spyro series needs to be brought up to date - like Mario. Nintendo hasn't made mario super dark, they've kept the character, power ups and gameplay the same genre but brought it up to date. A platformer in 2010 was one of the best game of the year because they didn't fuck with the formula.

@tobin00 Well, if God of War is fun, why isn't Dawn of the Dragon? I love both and that's partly because they're similar. My question is, if the previous games weren't like that, what does it matter? If the game is fun, it's fun. And if DOTD is similar to GOW, what makes it bad? Spyro is an old video game franchise and it changed to evolve and become something new. Why is that a bad thing?

I actually love DotD. If you got a problem with that, go fuck yourself. But just to make a lasting impression, I'll say this:
I love the Game's plot.
I love the Game's voice-acting (besides Cynder's, that I'll admit was crap)
I love the combat system.
I love the upgrade system.
I love the dynamic characters.
Oh, and you guys are hypocrites: You were praising Far Cry for being just like Grand theft auto, but hating DotD for being somewhat similar to God of War.

@gangsta0lemon Well, our primary complaint was that the game wasn't fun, we were just pointing out that it was similiar to GoW because none of the previous games were like that.
Do you like the previous Spyro games just as much? Or is this your favorite?
