Int.ch.Raeben's Quest For Camelot.CGC aka Quest, It was warm out and Quest just didnt want to work with me all too well, also its been 4 months sense I worked with him Iv been busy with Rabbit shows, but hes a very smart boy.

He knows:
Sit,Come, stay, laydown, heal, right turn, left turn, bow, shake, back up, finish aka when they do a clock wise turn and sit right next to you from infront of you, hes still working on the heal part.

Owner: Mindy Bennett from Albany Oregon, Iv also trained Labradors,Husky breeds,Poodles,Irish Setters, Rottwielers,Pittbull Mix's, from ages 6 weeks old to 7 years old.

Believe it or not you can teach a old dog new tricks, Quest just learnd the right turn and left turn only a year ago when he was 5 years old and it only took him 10 minutes to learn to turn both ways.

  • This is they way my pups handle without treats. How do i do that? Did you see the ears flair? Do you know when that particular instinctive behavior shows up in the field? Would it ever show up over Grouse? Would it show up with Pheasant? This dog would be great. My male, who had many of the same genetics as this strain, was the first ACK Master Hunt Test Champion English Setter and judged by HAVHDA judges as the best dog they had seen in the nation. Good to see the spirit in this pup. No kibbles

  • This is great! I have a rescued ES I want to use with children with special needs and these tricks are perfect!

  • Happy for you I dont train for hunting, also we have a GC Hunting field dog, I know all about that training stuff, I also had a Black lab named Jack a LONG time ago and I doubt that any of the dogs you have trained would ever be better then him, he was the best bird dog ever alive! when we took him hunting other peoples labs that were suppose to be trained wouldn't go after the dumb birds they always came over to our blind and asked us if they could barrow our dog to get there birds for them

  • I have trained dogs for hunt tests. Dogs don't need treats to be trained. They love the time with the handler or owner. Let's see you train your dog to handle in 8 different directs when he is 100 yards away from you.

Not trying to be rude but getting a dog to do what you are showing for food is midless.

  • @m7870

I know your being rude, Im sure you cant train your own dog, Quest is a AKC Obedience dog, and its not mindless it means hes a very smart dog, I was able to teach him each of these commands in only 5 minutes, but I have been working with him ever sense he was 6 weeks old, he is now 7 years old.

  • @m7870 Wow,does it make you feel good to be a jerk? Let's see some videos of YOUR' dog-training prowess.

  • Wow. You can teach a dog to do simple, mindless tricks for treats. That's tough.

  • i have one like this yours but he just knows to sit and give hand...

  • cool and smart dog!! my setter loves water and hunting.

  • that is just precious!
