Planet Alshain Password: BMBRMN

Mech Used: Mad Cat (Clanners know it as the Timber Wolf)

Rival Companies:
Draconis Combine, 14th Legion of Vega

Reason Why:
I don't know, last I remember Clan Wolf and Draconis were enemies. Maybe it had to with the head of Draconis giving the boot to Aleksander Kerensky, the once leader of the Star League...

Weapons Used:
Launcher-Gauss Rifle (razes buildings and long-range fire)
Projectile-Machine Gun (Just for show)
Explosive-Inferno Short Range Missile (trashes stuff easily)

Mission Objectives:
-Raze the Radar Site (makes the guns stop auto-locking you)
-Smash the Aerotech Base (no more aerial air strikes on you)
-Break the DCMS Mech and Tank Bays (to stop having vehicles attacking you)
-Save the Star Captain (without him, you can't detonate the bay doors)
-Disable the Power Pyramids (no internal lasers in the complex)
-Level the DCMS Complex (the Gauss Rifle can trash that easily)

Please note:
All of this video run is made with Snes9X 1.43-15.3 with DivX 5.2.1 (I know there's 6.8.4). You don't have to tell me that there's still some new version coming out with extra features on either one, that I'll know.

Sorry for the low quality (and crap commentary) on this whole run, I'll use the Xvid MPEG-4 Codec in my next run. Or if I don't turn lazy or occupied anytime soon, I'll try to make it on DivX 5 HD or try to make it as lossless as possible.

Oh yeah, and don't whine about me using different Mechs throughout the run. I like variety.

  • Rofl I thought Gauss Rifles were supposed to shoot bullets at hypersonic velocity not curving giant yellow blobs

  • @halranger Eh... you have no idea what these guys were thinking. Personally, I think Gauss Rifles in Mech2 were crap. Here, it's useful as a scattershot mortar particularly for clearing out buildings over walls and minefields.

  • i just played this game and i dont know how to change my weapons during game play what do i do

  • Y Button is use your Launcher. (Hold to charge PPC or Gauss Rifle)

B Button is use your Projectile. (Hold for rapid fire on any weapon)

A Button is to use your Explosive. (Hold for constant stream with Inferno)

L and R are manual torso twist. This was not included in the Genesis version.

  • I wonder what came first, this game or Battletech on the Genesis

  • @depth386 In this level, those buildings are Helicopter and Tank Hangars. Later levels (not Satalice, given how helos really don't work near intense volcanic areas) use helipads.

  • That was fantastic! What a great looking game on the snes and well played. Thanks for the video and your time. 5 star!

  • @susumu07 I think those H's are for helicopters to land on, after all, thats the roof of the building. It's a helicopter & possibly tank/apc hangar.

  • Good video yoshi

  • your a bender

  • cool! I'll add this to my wishlist!

  • thanks really helped
