Here we demonstrate multitouch control of the holographic optical tweezers and the ease with which a user can manipulate large numbers of optical traps in real time and with great finesse.
Grouping of traps and transformation of said groups is also shown.

  • Yep, we use LabVIEW for our control environment. We're in the process of releasing a version of our multitouch control library for LabVIEW now. It will enable anyone to add multitouch functionality to their LabVIEW code.

  • awesome! and many questions (hints):

Do you use a graphical interface (graphic card) or pc processor? because i am thinking in the refresh rate to calculate the hologram every time. how many nucleus you use in your hardware?
