I was fired from Meijer, so I thought I would have the last word in the parking lot that day. It was fun to take my frustration out on the shirt.

I worked at meijer for almost 14 years and was fired over a cup of coffee. When I asked about the proof I was told they did need to show me the evidence. Thank you meijer I now am on a 26 week vacation

My mom has worked there for 25 years. It has gone from family to the bottom line over the last 5 years. They no longer promote from within thanks to the new retail VP. They hire everyone from all different companies to give their input. Many think they are going to sell when fred is gone. I dont doubt it.

@ ShiftyTakers. Hell yeah!! Meijer's union is a joke too. Meijers tells their employees that is they post ANYTHING negative about the company on the internet like Facebook, myspace etc they will FIRE them. Plus they use the same anti union turnstyle checkout laned to eliminate bagger jobs and the metal bag holder prongs bang into the cashiers causing nast painful bruises.

i worked at one a long time ago for a few weeks. They treat you like crap. It's a nasty place to work. I hate shopping there as well. Today I told the general manager to fuck off. I just hate meijer.

As a vendor in Meijer and Wal-mart I used to just love listening to all the employees complain about the company. I NEVER heard a Wal-mart employee complain, EVER.. I would hear Store Directors on down to floor washers at Meijer complain. NEVER A NICE WORD about company.EVER! Shows how the company feels about it's people. I even heard a manager at Meijer tell a new employee Never walk the sales floor to go from one end of store to the other, use back room so you will not have to help customers!
