Keeping Teenage Mothers' Dreams Alive in Favelas of Rio de Janeiro

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL -- Here in Complexo de Alemão, an impoverished neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro's Zona Norte, Cause & Affect has helped create a new project to assist teenage mothers stay in school, learn how to properly care for their babies, receive work assistance and dream of a brighter future. Based on our micro-philanthropy model, we arrived on the scene, addressed the needs and jumped into action. Special thanks to IBISS and Meninas Maes and our wonderful donors for helping transform the lives of these young women and helping them realize their life dreams!
