F.A.O. People in the UK. If you return the alpha stim because it didn't work for you, they will not refund you in full. They charge you £50. They don't tell you this until you return it. They are very helpful when you buy one, but if it doesn't work for you you will find yourself having to call to chase your money.

I just bought the alphastim scs about 9 days and have been using it for 1 hour each day since then. But i havent really noticed anything from it, apart from some insomnia... Will this pass and will the aplha stim work on a more long term basis?

I too had insomnia when I first started and I called the Alpha-Stim people about it. They suggested to change my schedule and it worked. I had been doing my secessions in the morning (you would think this would be preferable, especially for insomnia but it wasn't right for me). I changed my schedule and used my Alpha-Stim in the evening instead and the insomnia went away.

I really like your explanation of how the Alpha-stim works.

Thanks. I have to admit I got lazy for a while (because I felt so good) and I stopped using my Alpha Stim regularly. My anxiety symptoms started to come back but I'm happy to say things are better now that I'm back using the Alpha Stim again.

@LowerMyPressure So its just masking the symtoms then? Not really getting down to the core issue and removing it?

Hi Clickswitch:
I don't think of the Alpha-Stim as masking the symptoms so much as an aid to facilitate change from within. It's kind of like planting a sapling and putting a support stake next to it. The stake supports the tree at first and as the tree grows bigger and gets used to the elements like wind, etc you remove the stake so that the tree gets stronger and then can stand on its own without the stake. Hope that made sense?
