The future looks very bright for the Wolverines in terms of recruting, with Marvin Robinson heading the class of 2010. He is a 4 star which makes me laugh because this kid is a 5 star player without a doudt. I think William Gholston will be a toss up between Ohio State and Michigan, either school will be getting a hell of a player. I have been saying all along Will Campbell will be a Wolverine, I have heard from more than one source. That kid flat out scares me; being I am a buckeye fan.
That's very understandable, alot of fans talk about things they have no clue what there talking about. Some fans can ruin it for the rest. Some people get on the comment boards just to stir up trouble, I agree with you.
Like I said, I've read some of your other posts out here and you seem to be a reasonable fan. I get a little off the subject when rogue fans start running off about things they have zero clue about. I can be civil, just won't tolerate ignorance. The person I called "stupid" has a history of being a rogue fan. I too respect the rivalry we share, but am not an OSU fan. I have meet a handful of reasonable OSU fans out here. Either way, you're right, both UM and OSU will always recruit well.
I am more than willing to talk recruiting with you however, let's talk like men. Let's not putdown states and coaches. I respect every coach, I have meet many coaches, they all have the same agenda, win. Some have different methods to achieve their goal. I am not a Michigan fan however, I respect the tradition and the wonderful heritage, just like Penn St. Calling people stupid? I do admit, some fans are delusional, they feel the school they root for are perfect. Have a good holiday.
There are a couple of backs for the class of 2010 that Michigan have there eye on.A kid by the name of Austin White from, Livonia Mich. He projects as a wonderful back for Rich Rod's system.Lache Seastrunk is another name to watch, he is from Texas, but has expressed some interest in Michigan. This kid is special, speed and acceleration that is down right scary. He is a 4 star, but my feeling is he will be a five before it's all said and done. Michigan, like Ohio St will always recruit well.
It all depends on the site your looking at. ESPN/Scout has Berry a 5 star rated recruit, Rivals has Berry a 4 star. I have had the chanceto see a few recruits from Ohio and Michigan in person; the one that I liked the most was Fitzgerald Toussaint. I really like his explosivness, he should be an excellent back or Michigan. I also like Jeremy Gallon, he is a bit on the smallish side however, he is going to be a Sam Mcguffie type, a great spread back. But in reality stars don't matter.
"Berry is better than any Michigan running back recruit, I don't think there is much of an argument there", you're part of the 13% of reasonable buckeyes, but I think you and all the recruting sites are over looking Fitgerald Toussaint, it might end up stinging you all in the rear!
