This month (September), the County of Nairobi will be making the headlines on the electoral front as it witnesses the third by-election since the inauguration of the 10th parliament. Two out of Nairobi's 8 constituencies will be holding by-elections occasioned by the nullification of the 2007 results. Makadara and Starehe constituencies go to the polls in just over two weeks and tonight, NTV's Yassin Juma turns the spotlight on Makadara one of the constituencies that truly define the rivalry between the ruling coalition partners ODM and PNU.

  • how can we create employment if we import everything including spoons

  • Can't help laughing about Bashir comment that has nothing to do with our affairs. Did you know Bashir went to Turkey Europe and never got arrested? Why arrest the neighbor then? Southern Sudanese have suffered in the hands of Northern and murahaleen in the name of oil discovery in the south. South will never say anything bad of Kenya not too long we were in the news accused of helping south with ammunitions.

  • @airhab... lol! His name is Juli... I grew up with him... and your comment is on point... lol!

  • @omera26 I already know all you have said, but all this is dependent on the South. What will be the national benefit from an association with the North, when it is almost certain that the South will secede in the referendum, and become its own State, separate from the North. Why was it vital to invite Bashir, is the question

  • msitegemee hao watu tokeni nje mka-hussle hao watu kwanza wanajichekia masilahi yao so wewe ukikaba mtaani ukichana jaba ukiwategea utaumia...But atleast rudisheni Dick Wathika coz yuko na track record..

  • @2190g1 Oil has been found in Southern Sudan, and if(when) they secede from the North, they'll be bringing it through Kenya for refining and export which will create a lot of jobs in Kenya and also Kenya will be getting cheap energy thereby stimulating other areas of the economy. South Sudan is also an area of investment and a market for Kenyan comapnies. The stability of Sudan is also of paramount importance to Kenya. there's so much else as well...read widely my friend

  • @72okoths and odinga with neverending oversees holidays, you forgot to mention that mr.youtube tribalist chief.

  • @72okoths Might you know what benefit there was to gain by inviting Bashir, or what National Interest there was to secure? I still cannot bring myself to understand this part

  • Lol I think we have found the Kenyan Wesley Snipes.

  • Common none of this politicians care about you or even your parents. Kibaki and his government do not care about you so just try and do something for yourself.

Kibaki uses your tax money to host a terrorist in the Name of Bashir in statehouse so what do you think?
