Reps, Dems . . . I don't care what you are. The rest of us are having to make cutbacks, so should the government. Wasteful spending that doesn't create jobs shouldn't be included in any bill right now.

Tax cut(s), working toward a flat tax and smaller government is what I hope to see in the future.

Please don't allow the dem's to use spending bills to further their future campaigns by appealing to those who do not wish to work nor tighten their own belts to better their situation(s).

I hope you remember my friends that died in the World Trade Center and that the Republicans, especially Bush did nothing. They had 8 years to build Freedom Tower and didn't do it. They had 8 years to bring in Bin Laden and chose not to, instead they moved into Iraq to instal social programs through a military presence with taxpayer dollars that Cheney and Haliburton carpetbagged? I hope you are happy with what Paulson and Bush did allowing bad spending. Republicans beat em to the ground.

Bush is an idiot and did spend like a drunken sailor. Sadly Obama spent that much in the first month.

The fact is $2.3 trillion (stimulus + bailout)/300 million = $7.5K/ person. Assuming 4 people in a family = $30K. This means each family is paying $30K on this plan and Obama is giving a tax break of $65/month/ family. It's like me robbing you of $30K now and giving you $800 back.
