The government wants you to believe unemployment rates have gone down when 49% of the country is considered poor? Sounds like a re-election statistical manipulation to me. What do you think?

Won't you be my neighbor?

  • Your points are very valid and I agree 100% however you are not taking into consideration why they are doing this. They are trying to encourage positive growth by making the job loss appear to be getting better. Many people believe this but with people like you, they no longer are. It is people like you that will slow progress. Keep your mouth shut and try and deal like I and everyone else. If you want to encourage growth you need to stop with videos like this.

  • @azcountrykid I have no problem with bolstering our economy but flat out lying to the American people so that a president can get re-elected is despicable. They are not saying jobs are increasing to bolster and encourage confidence in our economy... this is clearly about the election so lets not get it al twisted, kay? People have the right to know the truth and NO i WILL NOT stop making videos like this that expose lies our government tell us. Knowledge is power my friend!!! Tell your truth...

  • Your right...America has not improved at all...Now i have improved since i have left to the Boonies of PR,Have increased my skill level and now started to grow my own food...Its not a super easy life but i love it.The problem is the educational system does not teach you basic survival skills so you can fend for yourself...You are tought to work for others,Not for yourself.

  • @bbassler ... Why would anyone want to make things seem worse than they actually are? Um...because they're Republicans? LOL

  • Un employment is more along the lines of 17% or so......maby more

  • @emantabrizi Agreed but why would anyone want to make the numbers seem worse? You make some good points so thanks for the lively debate. Much appreciated ;) All I was trying to say was that it seems like the economy and unemployment are worse than ever and I find it insulting for the government to tell people it has gone down when you ask anyone on the street... they will tell you it hasn't. And I have no problem going down that road... LOL!!!

  • @bbassler ... Well, if you're going to argue that the numbers have been manipulated to make things seem BETTER than they actually are, then you must also consider the possibility that the numbers could have been manipulated to make things seem WORSE than they actually are. Are you sure you want to go down that road? LOL

  • @emantabrizi Okay but stats can be manipulated... that is all I'm saying. That is not an opinion but a fact also.

  • @bbassler ... When I say that GDP has gone up every quarter since Q3 of 2009, I'm not stating an opinion. It is a verifiable fact that you are capable of looking up. I gave you the name of the website I used. Here is another fact for you: no country in the history of the world has ever grown at a 10% average. The average is more like 1-3% (4-5% would be an economic "boom"). Once again, a "recession" is ZERO or NEGATIVE growth.
