@nephthysuk The majority of false accusations are made for three reasons:

#1 "Providing an Alibi" for example if a person cheats on their partner.

#2 "Seeking revenge" for example a jilted lover, child custody cases etc.

#3 "Obtaining sympathy and attention" this is perhaps the most bizarre of all three and encompasses those cases where a woman makes up a rape encounter that never happened. ( Kanin EJ. Arch Sex Behav. 1994 Feb;23(1):81-92 False rape allegations. )

The interviewee said "women have fought hard to come forward and be believed". False! There has never ever been a time when an allegation of rape wasn't considered serious. Feminists have fought hard for the ability of a woman to lie with impunity. And they have been wildly successful.

"she could end up facing charges" means "she is going to walk away with it" as it usually happens to women who lie about rape.

Some people (WOMEN) lie just to get attention; a cry for help - they actually want to get caught (really?); guilt and fear about past actions (whatever the hell that means). But not the most obvious reason: she's a spiteful, vindictive cunt looking to get an innocent man put in jail. They also don't mention any effect this false accusation would have on the man.

@luckybozo Sounds like a good idea,I've heard 2 stories from 2 different men who didn't even want to have sex one threatened to cry rape & the other did cry rape so even with out sex. A women can do it out of spite!

@alittlebitofperil You only hear the bad cases because they were lucky enough to make it that far. Also, due to shame most men won't even admit it or report it. In fact, because of this, more attention should be given to this type of issues concerning men. You have seen how they helped women rape victims. Do it for men.

@TubeGhost Exactly, no one cares about how the man's life is ruined. They would even go after the prosecutors which is rightly so, but what about the woman who lied in the first place?

@ORVX If it was me, I would do everything I could to expose the media...I would hold conferences, I would make a big deal. I wouldn't settle and just say "I am happy I am a free man". I would say it to the camera and news "I am an example of how men are not treated fairly", "false rape should be reported just like a real crime".

@crypter27 Well, those of us men and even women DON"T trust a woman. But it is usually through some bad experiences and common sense. Media kept on focusing the bad on men and innocence on women that is why most of the people still find it "surprising". But people wake up! As far as morals, men and women are the same. We have been sold a lie! Pathetic!
