31mommy, why does the word social justice upset you? Break it down in English, not what some political pundit is telling you. Social is people or society. Justice is doing what is right. So what part of doing what is right for people do you dislike? isn't that what Jesus taught? these people are helping the poor. I'd recommend to you the book that goes with the film, called Fast Living: How the Church Will End Extreme Poverty. It provides much more of the theology behind this movement.

I saw the movie. I am pulling my support from Compassion Int. and giving it to GFA with KP Yohannon. I heard the word social justice and very little was said about Jesus and the Life He offers. I was so upset that the mark was missed. We don't need world peace. We need Jesus and His spirit. I am burdened for the poor and lost. I am burdened this movie missed the target.
