Your production rate is way to high for that size torch tip. Cut your current way, way back or cut the end off of that tip and flare it. You should always keep the filter wet! Great work man.

NO but seriously, it was so funny to see you get really scared. Ok ok , so here is some tips, and you WILL get it working.

1: BallNeedle is ok choice to begin with, I use a longer model BUT the diameter of the hole IS WAY TO LARGE so you need to cramp it, say half the size at most, preferebly smaller exit hole.

2: Cigarette/CottonBud END-Flashack is perfect, i use it ALL THE TIME and it saves my ass every time, so dont worry!

3:Hot Glue IS your friend, so use it on cracks

The bronze wool is a bad idea I've seen it fail so many times. Three things in my opinion. One- Make your torch tip smaller either a basketball needle or a hypodermic needle. Second- put a bubbler on the line so there's not a horrible blowback. It might only blow up to the bubbler. Third- Put a flame arrestor behind the torch head. This is really the most important piece. Either buy one or make your own but do more research on it if you do it yourself. Bronze wool is shit.

air stones from an aquarium make a nice flashback arrester better than bronze wool ive seen them in use in industrial hydrogen torches

.way to much gas ,u could just about use a small brazing torch for the sort of output youve got there,40 thou or 1mm dismeter jet would do.

That was truly scary! Here is my advice: 1) Never work in a closed environment. The reason is that Hydrogen diffuses quickly so this helps avoid explosion as it gets mixed up with Nitrogen gas in the air. 2) Make sure there is no leakage from your bubbler.

great one, use broze wool, works better then cig filter, or some air stone from auqarium supply, inclosed in a pipe.

Hi

I say on one of these vids where the guy used a pinstrippers air brush for the torch head. It should be adjustable for flow and flame spread with other tips.
