Urine Sample - A CoD4 PC montage

Please read this before watching and rating!

A quick little montage I put together, featuring kills from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare PC, using only shotguns and sniper rifles.

There is a lot of cutting involved, but all the sniper shots, while scoped, were not sped up, only slowed down. People rated my last montage down a few notches because they assumed that the kills were sped up. Almost all of them are "drag-shots," where I move the mouse at a speed and distance according to where the enemy player is, and sometimes fire before I make it there.

All editing was done with Adobe After Effects CS4.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (multiplayer)
CoD4player (to watch and manipulate the demos recorded by the game)
FRAPS (to record the demos into footage)
Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate (to convert the FPS1 codec AVI's into Animation codec MOV's, which are very friendly with AE)

-Q9450 OC'd @ 3.4GHz (425x8) w/ Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro and OCZ Freeze thermal paste
-DFI Blood Iron T2RL
-Patriot 8GB DDR2-6400 (425x2 (850MHz)) RAM
-EVGA 8800GT 512MB @ stock clocks (previously OC'd, gets too hot now)
-1x WD 640GB black HDD, 1x WD 500GB black HDD
-2x Samsung Writemaster ODDs
-Cooler Master RC-690 with 3 intake and 2 exhaust fans
-Antec Earthwatts 650W PSU
-Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

I don't quite remember... I think about 3-4 hours in total, though, and apparently (according to my post on my site) within a single day.

FRAPS.

Any recorder will work just fine as long as your set bit-rate is adequate. Xfire and Camtasia both work well, but aren't as simplified as FRAPS.

I'm not recording as I play; I take demos first then record the replayed demos with FRAPS.
