  • @SilvaSkaduwee Not an expert but I don't think Michael Des Barres ever had anything to do with Family. Silverhead, Detective, Chequered Past, and Live Power Station.

  • The singer sounds like the guy from Family. Is it him?

  • I bought this album when it came out because i liked the cover. I never heard of them. I was pleased

  • I prefer the second one. It's a grittier.. ballsier recording. Bright Light builds up momentum and kicks you in the face, Heavy Hammer, Rock Out Claudette, 16 and Savaged have nice meaty guitar hooks that stick in your head. And c'mon... This Ain't a Parody is cleverly written hard rock songcraft! Only songs I like on the first one are Long Legged Lisa and um...maybe Ace Supreme. Rest are a batch of yawn inducing rock ballads.

  • I actually prefer the first one. It's somewhat more "Rolling" as the second album is more "Rocking" if you get my drift. And you're right, the first album is the self titled "Silverhead" and the second one is "Sixteen And Savaged". Great title btw.

  • This is great. I cant believe nobody has pointed me in their direction before.

  • and this, 16 & Savaged, WAS their second album. I favor this one myself.

  • Thanx for the upload, dude, greatly love hearing this !

  • Uh yeah I don't think so. All tracks on the first album rocked. Those that come straight away to my mind are, "Rolling With My Baby", "Sold Me Down The River" & Ace Supreme".
