A before and after video of my 2002 dodge durango 4.7l slt+ 4x4. I already have a flowmaster super 44 series muffler on it along with the 3.5x18 inch t304 stainless steel exhaust tip. I made this video to see if anyone can notice the difference in sound after installing my cold air intake. The first half is without and second part with the intake. The Intake is the spectre build it yourself kit you can find at autozone or oreily auto parts.

  • hey does adding a cold air intake cause hydro lock?

  • @calfan3 idk why it would? i never had any problems. though mine is a ram air and I'm no longer running this setup. I'm running an airaid Jr kit. it utilizes the stock box with the modular tubing and a drop high flow filter. good gains and the look fits in with the engine bay.

  • will do!

  • @silverdak287 Yeah no problem buddy. Get back to me when you make a video of your own!

  • @aaminjoshi91 nice! but yeah that's what i kinda figured since flowmasters are all metal and no packing. but hey man thanks again for the vids and everything!

  • @silverdak287 it does get kinda louder but its not supposed to flowmaster says. there is nothing inside there muffler to break in. you know? but thats sweet man! we just got like 6 inches of snow here. i live in Minnesota. so we're not to far from each other.

  • @aaminjoshi91 haha and indeed i did! i just got it on today but i live in southeast iowa so we're gettin nailed with the apocoliptic snow storm at the moment...makes it kinda hard for me to really get into it. but i really love the sound! i didn't tell my mom about it but after i pulled in the driveway she asked if it was thundering out! haha! does it get any louder once you put a few hundred miles on it?

  • @silverdak287 yeah? lol i get on youtube often enough plus the email updates help to. Yeah my videos are good quality they really show what it sounds like. And i know you'll be happy with the super 44. i hope you have stock exhaust now. because when you start your truck for the first time you'll get this huge smile on your face i swear!

  • @aaminjoshi91 damn thats probly the fastest reply i've gotten! but it seems loud enough for me so yeah i'm pretty set on the super 44 now thanks to all the vids up put up here. hopefully i'll get a vid up in the spring and you can check out my truck sometime. it's a silver 4x4 so i bet you'd like it! thanks again man!

  • @silverdak287 it did sound awesome! my only regret was it wasn't loud enough for me. I'm running a flowmaster super 10 series. THAT'S WHAT YOU SHOULD GET! it sounds bad fuckin ass man!
