The skeptic is an idiot. I am a commercial pilot and we are trained to scan the sky, identify, and then react especially to potential threats and not quickly but to act accordingly for the best possible solution. This guy needs a lesson on CRM and how we actually are trained. If nothing else and at the very least we can certainly identify whether or not it is a traditional type of aircraft,speed, manuverability, optic illusion and size. His credibilty on the pilot part is simply crap!

Further more, as a pilot I'd say that by illiminating the fact that it is not a conventional aircraft and not an optical illusion. That leaves very little to the imagination. Military, Alien craft or maybe an occasional weather ballon which we are aware of launch areas as well. I have also seen weather balloons in flight and their course rarely if ever deviates course. I can understand a weather balloon mis identified from the ground but it is much easier to do from the air. Sorry fat skeptic!

I am quite skeptical anyone has ever touched his body, ever. btw he is a retired pilot, so i guess he is someone really not qualified to decide what has been seen in the sky. yes i am aware he is also a telescope guy, he looks at planets far away, does that make him qualified to describe things in the atmosphere? with a telescope? should look at his list of requirements to be a qualified observer, from his book. no one person would ever meet his requirments, including himself. look him up.

My main point was that pilots "are" trained observers and the fat guy not being one was wrong in his assertion they are not. we spend alot of time learning scanning techniques and assessing threats to our own aircraft in order to take precautionary measures. Thats all. Its unidentified then no one can say for certain what it was, Im indifferent on the subject.
