I talked to a former russian fighter pilot a few years back. He told me about a special insigna some pilots wore on their flightsuits. It identified them as members of a small, exclusive club; pilots who had been scrambled on missions to intercept UFOs, andwho had photographed and/or seen them up close. To his knowledge, they never managed to shoot one down, but the testimonies are numerous, and the photos are out there in some archive somewhere.
