this interface just took over my home computer and my work computer. why?? how do i get the old one back. my co-workers Google hasn't changed. ugh !!

How to get back the old Google interface? Go to google.com and load your browser developer console. Copy and paste this:

I think it only makes sense for fluid width resizing, having the left tool bar on the left is a way better solution for widescreen displays

Sorry umm.. how do I load my browser developer console?

I guess they must be colorblind, unable to process images, love hovering and clicking, and have their monitors all mounted vertically. How else to explain their poor decisions over the past couple of years to remove useful color and image cues from the interface, increase the time and clicking needed to use the UI, and consume vertical space unnecessarily while wasting horizontal space? I liked things better when engineers were doing the designing instead of designers doing the engineering.

Whoever has this layout enabled for them, please install the Edit My Cookie app from the Chrome Webstore, and then go to google.com and then paste the Cookie ID for the NID cookie That way the rest of us can try this out. Thanks
