@aodscarecrow We all need to realise the difference between the help we've become used to, and what help used to be. Help is the strength of our friends, loved ones, and even complete strangers willing to be there for us spiritually, mentally, and physically. Money is a crutch we all need to free ourselves from. Imagine the coordination it would take if money didnt exist. What would you give your friend if he needed help then? Your advice, just being there is more valuable than money ever is.

Really interesting - nice perspective - I am very happy with my life not in fear at all - just like to know what is going on in the world from various viewpoints and thats why I like Max - Yes gardens and growing your own food is very important - also cutting up credit cards and getting back on track too. Being prepared is a good point yet I think that will be many more years into the future - the world is not about to fall yet. The year 2012 will come and go just like the year 1999 did.
