I made sure I was in the same spot in 2009, thanks to the video. Best mascleta I've ever seen. It's on Fernando Catolico just up from Angel Guimera metro. You have to move very fast from Pl. Ajuntamiento to catch it, but if you move fast you can catch Abastos, Palleter and Fallas 99. Ask people what's happening. Forget it if you've been anywhere near the front at the main one, you won't have time.

Really good footage - close to the action - I sure as hell would not have got that near. Brave dude.

I was close to the action alright, but I was just behind the barrier like everyone else. Things are different during Las Fallas.

Thats called the terramoto (earthquake) and the apotheosis of every mascleta. You really have experience the pressure wave!

Hello folks ! Have you never been to Valencia during "Las Fallas ?" Not that I advocate it ( there`s plenty of people there already ). But this is almost tame compared to what it can be like. It`s so loud it`s frightening.I saw young fit people in ambulances. See "Ultima Mascleta," in YT ( I think 2nd or 3rd Icon down ).
