This was a cool little advertisement done by EA for the James Bond Nightfire game that we did for the Nintendo GBA.
Our proprietary "Entity Engine" was the first true 3D engine for the GBA. It drove the Nintendo GBA to new 3d heights with full collision checking, dynamic lighting and true 3D geometry. The Entity Engine helped bring James bond to life for the GBA which was previously reserved for next gen home consoles.
@ jayce79 Thanks for sharing the Philharmonic version, it's fantastic.
The way we were able to get the audio so close on the GBA was by developing our own MOD audio player. Midi on the GBA sounded horrible so we completely abandoned their built in system.
Way back in the days of the Atari ST and Amiga, an audio system known as MOD was popular and it's design was very efficient and had a small programming foot print.
We had to dissect the 007 them and create repeating layers on the MOD.

@sonnypearce
You have to remember, this was on the GBA and 3D. Squeezing 9 levels into that little guy was difficult. The good thing is that the levels were pretty large. :)
