A group of people with special needs have joined together to RECORD two beautiful songs with powerful messages.

The group is based at St. Helens. People's Choice an independent self advocacy group run for and by people with learning disabilities.  They empower people to have their own say about the things that are important to them.

In March 2010,, singer Gaynor Conner organised a singing group within the members of People's Choice. Meeting weekly in a familiar environment to help individuals gain confidence and to sing in public. The group soon became a choir. The choir soon became known as "The Gang."

With the help of Gaynor's friend, Singer song writer Mike Redway, the Gang are about to release this, their first CD.

The first song in this video, written by Susan Higgins and Mike Redway is called 'Look At Me With Different Eyes' hopes to raise awareness and change attitudes to those with learning differences and disabilities.

The second song, written by Mike Redway is 'Safer Roads.' And is a moving plea from all pedestrians to drivers with the simple and yet resounding message to slow down and look out for others.     "The Gang are a great bunch and are always looking for new and innovative ways to express themselves. When they were given the opportunity to work on a CD they jumped at the chance. We are all over the moon with the result!"  People's Choice.
