This is a collection of historical photos of the city of New Orleans, Louisiana that span from the 1880's until the 1950's set to the song, "Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans?" that was recorded by Isidore "Tuts" Washington (1907-1984) in New Orleans in 1983.

  • I stayed in New Orleans for all of 4 days and 3 nights. Have lived in San Diego for over 60 years...still consider NOLA "home" not Southern California...guess it's that music with "soul" rather than our "cool" West Coast jazz that makes me want to relocate!

  • Thank you.

  • Freakin' off the wall fantastic. This one hits my blog! Great great job and thanks you for sharing!!!!!

  • I love Tuts Washington's playing of this song! Very unique, genuine, and genuinely New Orleans!
