@Shaftronics Yeah, he'd rather choose an agile MS than a heavy MA. To be honest the Nightengale was rather bulky, but I'd imagine he took design notes from The O's book.

@darkmirage0 He likes his suits light on armor so he can turn on a dime though. Hell, when he used an I-field enabled suit, his reaction was to dodge beam attacks anyway. Couldn't get used to it.

@linkxsc im sorry that i did not read the comments predating this one but isnt alteisen actually supposed to be FASTEST of them all? i mean kyousuke is one of the only pilots having the reaction time to pilot this crazy mecha? actually everytime anyone says that the alteisen is outdated is not because of the speed problem but because it gives the pilot not enough piloting help so that he can control that beast of a mech! thats why kyousuke likes it! ^^

@FlayvorOfEvil yeah id have to agree on that, but i think if you look at the official infos. The alt weighs about 85 tons while the main line of gespensts is around 70-80 depending on model, heck the wildschwein is almost 80, so I don't really understand why with alt should be considered especially slow. The only excuse i can find is that because of the bit revolver stake on the side, its unbalance to the point they had to govern its speed for stability reasons. But even then, Override switch.

@linkxsc Well in actuality Char machines are only 33% faster. I'm pretty sure an Alt at least 33% faster than a normal gespenst.

@GameoverVergil The Alt Eisen is exactly something Char would pilot. Red? Check. Has a horn? check. Is a custom grunt unit? Check. Moves 3 times faster than a grunt unit? maybe. Uses a frontal assault style based on melee? Check.
