Mulla Bassim Karbalaei recites this Islamic eulogy in mourning of the tragedy of Karbala, where Imam Hussain the grandson of the Prophet Mohammed, and his family and companions were oppressed and killed over 1,300 years ago.

Here Mulla Bassim recites about Abbas, the half brother of Imam Hussain who went to collect water for the thirsty children, who were denied water by the enemies for days. His hands were cut and he died a martyr trying to get water for the thirsty children.

Millions of muslims around the world mourn the tragedy of Karbala by crying and beating their chests, in the holy Islamic month of muharram, and take the martyrs and survivors of Karbala as role models in their lives, from their great patience, love of their Lord, and sacrifices.
