The topic of discussion is the use of real locations in novels. I tend to use a lot of actual locations in my novels because I think it adds an authentic feel to the setting. But sometimes real places are too restrictive or, in the case of this particular place, too unbelievable.

  • I like when authors use real locations. If he fans of your books become "super fans" they will want to find and visit those locations.
