@sodapops13, the song is actually Zydeco and Texas has a HUGE creole and cajan culture who LOVE Zydeco music. You would have to be "in the know" to know about this music. We do Zydeco, not because we think its country (in any way). We do it because we KNOW its fun!!:)

@cmb247cmb , you can clearly see that most of the ladies in this class are not professionals. They just look like they are having a really good time in a class. The title of this video is not "Demo of the Texas Zydeco Slide" so I do not think you should expect a count out of this dance on this video. "How is a person supposed to learn?"...how about take this women's class which she advertises throughout all her videos. Take a class or buy a DVD! Dont complain cause you cant keep up!

@CAGW42 Why wouldn't you call it country? It's Creole country. It comes from a rural area. It's not from the big city. That's for sure. Just a different brand of country.
