Custom made RC Learjet by Grant Beaver in the 1960's crashed at Stanley airport in Nova Scotia on its maiden flight. The 1st flight was ok except the right landing gear did not work and he landed with the plane's weight on it's right wing causing damage to the wing. On the second flight, the left wing separated from the fuselage in midair. helping with the flight was Fred Coyle and Roy Beaver.

  • The runway is mostly grass now, amazing to see how it's changed over the years.
