Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah delivered a speech on Wednesday to honor the partys electoral machines in Lebanon.

Speaking through a large TV screen, Sayyed Nasrallah thanked the people who voted for the resistance choice and thanked the electoral machines for their remarkable efforts during June 7 parliamentary elections.

His eminence said that the national opposition's goal was to obtain a parliamentary majority "in order to carry out reform plans, this, however, has not been achieved," he acknowledged.

Sayyed Nasrallah said, A rumor was circulated in the media and in some private meetings that Hezbollah did not really want the opposition to win the parliamentary elections and that is why the party did not exert all its efforts to win, because it feared the post-election period. My direct answer is all this not true. Hezbollah worked seriously and cooperated with its allies, making every effort domestically and regionally. But there were reasons and factors why we did not win.
