February 3rd 2007 was a cold and foggy day. We warmed up by cramming ourselves into Warrington Parr Hall to see what an excellent gig, despite the rather laid back tones on the album - the band were full of energy and this translated into the sound, nothing short of excellent! Included within this short video are quick clips from:
- History Song
- 80's Life
- Northern Whale
- Kingdom of Doom (my fave!)
- Behind the Sun
- The Bunting Song
- Three Changes

Enjoy - I did!

  • Ah, I was there! What a great gig it was - Great music!! Minus Wattle and Daube, I thought they were quite bad.

  • Yep, it was fun! Poor Wattle and Daube, but they did me a service as the bar was a little emptier while they were on!

  • Really put together nicely - thank you for this. I went to he gig without a ticket on the off chance I could get in, and did! It was such an intimate venue. I feel really privileged that I was there. I enjoyed the set more than the album - it really came to life. Oh yes, and PAUL SIMONON, bloody hell!!

  • Totally agree with you - I thought the energy they put into the show made the music really come alive, much better than the album. Oh, and thanks for the kind comments!
