there is somting I would like to get off my chest 1 of my fave programs is homes under the hammer and over the years I have seen so many x council houses on there ,and if they happened to be disabled accesable the first thing they do is rip it all out and make it for "normal" people and as a man who has been on the council list for 3 years waiting for a accessable home I think its disgusting why does discrimination mean somthing else when it comes to disabled .thats better !

I'm visiting the UK from Canada for over a month. I'm not staying in London, but will be visiting to do the whole tourist thing within the next couple of weeks. I'm a blind quadriplegic so I was a bit worried about getting around. This video is very well done and shines a whole new light on things I bet a lot of people didn't even notice before. Great job!

Even with the ADA it's often not much better in the US, even with some governmental buildings...
A few weeks ago friend and I went to a museum set up in a lovely 1920s house... elevator to second floor but to get to Special Exhibit area, down the hall it was down two steps, a landing, and then up two steps...

I was once told: "The disabled toilet is downstairs."
