Since when did Somalia and Lebanon = Iraq? Since we were told all three were necessary to our national security. The longer we are in Iraq the more we will be hated and more Americans will die. Most of the people we're fighting in Iraq aren't Al Qaeda, their Iraq citizens who once saw us as liberators but now see us as occupiers. We would do the same if we were occupied.

The real question is: If Saddam had agreed with IMF, who controls oil prices, to denote his oil sales in dollars and, in turn, pay part of his oil profits to bank trusts in the US, would the US have had find reasons to go to war with him twice to punish him?
