I saw the Strokes and Emily in a festival nt so long ago. I think the first phase of Metric, in the Late 90´s, with Static Anonimity EP, Grow up and blow away, and the Mainstream EP, are their best part. They´re fresh and dark, relieving and torturing at the same time: I don´t find Fantasies so good, but whatever. I WUV THEM.

@MrsFingerful I guess they mean the most known bands from the late 90s

The late 90s had AMAZING BANDS! Veruca Salt, The Breeders, Sonic Youth, etc etc.

Really?! Fantasy is about partisan politics and who did/didn't get elected. Wow, I like Metric a lot less now.

1. Jimmy's a gentleman for telling Emily she looks nice & doesn't need to take off her coat. 2. Americans need to realize Canada is not a jr. version of them. I am, for one, fond of the things that make Canada unique (not the stereotypes) & we're not America's hat as some like to say to our face, because if Canada is the hat, then the hat is bigger than the body. 3. I love that the new album is based on fantasies/dreams. It's a great theme! This was a great interview! <3 the ideas expressed.
