I don't think she could sing these kind of songs. It put too much strain on her voice, and she really didn't take very good care of it throughout the competition, thus letting it deteriorate. Not her best performance, but she still is a good singer.

@agay5 Fantasia was better. Hence why she won and has continued a successful career. Of course we are all entitled to our own different opinions no matter how illogical they might seem.

And?...Filipino and Chinese are both Asian anyway...WTF?...some Filipinos are on the dark side (Malay-ish), and some are on the light side ( Chinese/Spanish ) looking...who gives a rat's *ss anyway? Just as some Puerto Ricans look African and some look White/Spanish (totally different)...we are all different.

David Archuleta sang it WAAAAAAAAAY better! I wasn't a big fan of her at all when she was on American Idol. She was too nasily.

I'd like to point out, that she was sick that week. But yeah, we shouldn't compare her to Archie just cause they sang the same song...they're totally different singers.
