  • All coaches teach differently. He's doing it correctly, it's just he's bringing in his free leg rather than extending it out. A mohawk is defined as changing from one foot to the other and staying on the same edges which he was doing. He really wasn't having a hard time holding the last edge, he was going slow because he was demonstratiing and explaining at the same time. Give the guy some credit.

  • Lots of weak people around commenting on looks and accent. Grow up...

  • my coach does it a little more fluently, but great, thanks!

  • he reminds me of the guy from the hangover bahaha

  • it's in isi gamma which is not advanced and he is switching his foot too slowly. my coach says it has to be like hot potato fast

  • i like his voice, and this isnt even advanced...............

  • @MondeTriste1 Is he doing a partial three turn before he places the other foot down? I can't tell. I'll also be starting Adult Gamma/Delta in the fall, and can't wait to have this move down solid. :) What level are you skating at now?

  • why is this called Advanced figure skating moves

  • wow this guy is amazing hey thanks i wish they had coaches like you at my ice rink

  • Ohh! Okay!! I see what I was doing wrong! I did a three turn because I turned on 1 ft. Okay! Thanks!!

  • thats not a mohawk atleast not how my coach teaches me we have our leg out at the end of the turn, not at the side

  • @MondeTriste1 Okay. What a relief. :D Thanks though! You make me confident! :D
