Responder a este vídeo...Hahaha, ok. It's easy: I'm looking for an answer beyond you say. The question everyone (or almost) have asked: What is this island? A place where miracles happens is not enough for me, I'm sorry. Thank you for your quotes anyway :)

@metsjets333 Thank you for answering, really, but I don't agree. Saying "is a place where miracles happen" doesn't help me. I saw it since the first episode and I feel like it doesn't answer anything. Really, I don't think I can convince you or you convince me. You have a point of view (absolutelly recpectable), but I have another: they don't give us the answers, only clues. They didn't want to give us because they thought "It's so funny to make people discuss".

@solidrinker The Island is a place where miracles happen. It has a special power and that power is the light. The light is the source for the island miracles and magical powers. It is described as a cork that keeps evil in. Either evil or a volcanic eruption that will destroy the island.

@heatflash888 That was Jacob's cabin but the Smoke Monster got in when the ash moved, the Smoke Monster took it over and used it to trick people. Dogen had a power that Jacob gave him that made it so the Smoke Monster couldn't pass through him. The Pearl was the testing people to see if they would do the job, and the food drops was explained in the epilogue. Smoke Monster can travel, the time periods were never at the same time. Jack was the protector of the island.

And all the unanswered questions – who was in the moving shack that spoke to locke, he seemed trapped by the ash and yet Smokey was out and about from the start. How did the Japanese ninja stop lock entering, could he round house kick smoke? Why was dr chang watching the occupants of the hatch and what about the air drops? Why was the smoke always in a different place from bad lockes appearances? Why didn’t jack turn into smoke when he entered the light? Etc

The last season was utter crap, it seemed a jumble of other peoples ideas stuck together. Close encounters pointless English French translations to soak up time and sound more interesting, becomes the pointless Japanese translations. Ridley scots legends river glade where goodness in the form of a unicorn resides that only the good can find becomes a glade with a glowing hole. Throw in a touch of Indiana jones and last flight of the phoenix.
