Mom's "attack" donkey

This is George. George was a pathetic little donkey at a local auction. We managed to get my mother out of there without buying anyone, only to have Mom whisper to my sister's then-boyfriend "if the donkey goes for $25 get him for me" .... only 1/2 joking. George sold for $30 to the then-boyfriend. Mom and Dad were here with their CAR ... 200 miles from home ... and owned a donkey.

So donkey spent the week with us until he could get picked up with a trailer (funny thing - my parents' big four hours gooseneck coming to pick up a little donkey!). found out he was not gelded ... took care of that. He has a bad hip, probably a broken pelvis in the past. And he turned out not to be a "little old donkey" as he was only about 6!

George is 8 now, happily living in the pen, and enjoying his life as a pet. As you can see ... he's a true "attack" donkey too!
