  • When I first heard this I thought "Wow, she's very talented to be able to do this". I found myself returning to it that very day. THEN when I heard it, I FELT IT. Didn't think about how it was happening, just got wrapped up in it. It sent shivers down my spine, a mixture of sadness and happiness, struggle and hope. Imagine making someone feel that way without saying a spoken word or or having any personal contact with them. Purely aural. Incredible. This is music at it's most powerful to me.

  • my hands need a nap after watching this...

  • Im not sure who I am in love with. The Piano, Valentina, or the music..... It's all three. A most magnificient of combinations.

    I send my love.

  • oh my God, she's possessed. By God

  • best version

  • your performances will just wow just about anybody

  • Спасибо огромное Валентина за Ваш талант!!! Вы прекрасны!!!

  • For all the people saying its so too bland and and "loud" and whatever, I'm not sure what you think the ocean is like, but generally its blue everywhere and holds a lot of power... This is how this piece is meant to be played. For those of you who are saying it isn't, you clearly don't play piano, and never will be able to.

  • @Mralibabarooibakkie I'm so glad someone else had the same reaction I did to this. The beauty of Chopin is how he wrote to provide contrast and transition from loud to soft, heavy to light, etc. Her dynamic range is narrow, she plays almost completely ponderously instead of varying the weight of touch, and she seems to interpret at most a handful of measures together in her phrasing (rather than the piece as a whole). To me this had barely any emotional impact.

  • Does anybody have some wine?

  • With each wave more emotions rise.

  • Yes I love Chopin. Find also this a little bit metodich and miss the real feeling for the music.Otherwise she is very good, in many other pieces of music I have listen to.A very good tecnique.
