Tim Russert - Rest In Peace

After hearing about Tim Russert passing away today, we decided to post this video of us talking about how excited we were when we got to meet him in the NBC studios while competing on the Today Show Wedding in NYC. As you can see, we were crazy excited and I had even said that if we won the wedding, all I wanted was a wedding picture with Tim. :( Meeting him was by far one of the most exciting moments we had while on the show. Needless to say, we were huge fans of Tim and this year's political coverage won't be the same without him. He was not only an amazing political pundit, but a great man as well.

Congrats!! My father worked with Tim at NBC in Washington. He came to my fathers funeral in 1996 and was so incredibly caring and nice. He always thought of others and those double rainbows over Washington after his service really shined a new light on him. Wow, I was really speechless after seeing the double rainbows..
