Alligator Onion Cutter

Alligator Onion Cutter - It's just so easy and fast! Perfect for chopping onions and vegetables. Simply place the vegetable on the chopping grid, with an open hand, push the top part down quickly and firmly. The chopped pieces will be conveniently pushed into the collecting box. For batons or juliennes, place vertical and chop just once. For diced onion/vegetables, re-insert the pieces into the Alligator and chop them again.

Dishwasher friendly.

This looks like a smaller, more compact, more home-oriented (as opposed to commercial) version of Nemco's Easy Onion Slicer. If it works as well as that model, then I approve.

@PacoBell nope, i shouldn't think so... if they were, it'd be a hazard to use it and clean it, i think. it's not THAT expensive so why not give it a try and see for long you can use it without it become dull! :)
