Vintage Fisher receivers and amps are demanding a lot of money on the used marketplace, especially if in near new or mint condition. I hooked up a 500C to a pair of Magenpan planar speakers a few years ago, and I was in audio heaven! I would gladly pay over a grand for a 500C in good working condition!

Highly desirable receivers with incredible euphonic and sweet sound, being they have the highly regarded and sought after German TELEFUNKEN tubes! I have a FISHER 500B in near mint condition, with low time on it, still in my dad's console from 1966 or so!!! He hardly used it, and gave it to me!!!

Very nice! I also have a Fisher 400, a later production like yours with 4 IF stages. The earlier ones had 3.

I have a fisher 450 that I bought at a garage sale for I think a dollar, works great, needs a few cosmetic things like caps for th knobs (gold color I think)
but it's really nice sounding, do you know how many watts the 450 puts out??
Fisher or should I say "The fisher" looks similar to Scott
