Just watched this yet AGAIN !! It's a brilliant series, and very informative, and a handy reference. One point - did I see a piano keyboard in this clip??
All the best; Bob

Just watched your series again Ken, this is an invaluable reminder for all regarding your hints and tips and looking how you've done things. Great Sunday afternoon viewing! Better than what's on the TV!

Hi Ken. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely layout with us, it's great to see someone who doesn't simply buy their layout from the model shop. Just like your set-up, my layout will never be fully finished, but the fun is in the building of your own little world. I grew up in the westcountry in the 50's, and your layout brings forth many happy memories. Keep up the good work, & I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Hi Ken, thanks very much for sharing your model railway layout with us. It's lovely to see someone who hasn't just gone & spent a fortune in the local model shop on ready made items, but, who through his own ingenuity, has created such a super layout. My layout, as with all, will never really be 'finished', but the enjoyment is in developing & improving it. Keep it up Ken, you are an inspiration to us all.

Well done Ken! What a lovely example of someone who is happy with his layout, and I must say, you are doing a super job. I grew up in the late 50's & 60's in the west country and your layout brings back many happy memories. Just like you, I dont think my layout will ever be 'finished', but thats half the fun of it! Finally, it's lovely to see someone who hasn't simply gone & spent a fortune at the model shop, but has still created a wonderful layout. Keep it up!
Hi Thanks for the comment. I have completed the final part of the series but have had problems uploading it. I shall keep trying so pleasee keep viewing

Well spotted, my other hobby. I have the keyboard (Yahama dx21), Drum machine (Alesi) and a 4 track recorder/mixer I played in various bands for many years and still like composing stuff Regards Ken

Fabulous Ken. Well done - incidentally In my opinion the hardboard cleaner idea is probably the best around. I believe it was done extensively by the Torquay Model Railway Club many years ago to excellent effect. (By the way it's a good idea also to re-wheel the wagon with "top-hat" bearings to avoid wear on the plastic axle boxes due to the added weight). Very good series thanks for posting. Rob

@waldenhouse Hi Many thanks for the comments especially the track cleaning van.
I must confess that I have copied it from somewhere and that various modifications are necessary but all in good time. Good luck with your modelling
