Chris Withrow strikes out a batter during a May 27 California League game between the Inland Empire 66ers and the Modesto Nuts. Withrow drew the loss despite a masterful performance on the mound. In five innings, Withrow fanned 10 batters, while yielding only three hits, one run and no walks. Withrow was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the first round (20th overall) of the 2007 First-Year Player Draft out of Midland Christian High School in Midland, TX.
