I met Terry on a rainy day in Nashville. He once owned a landscaping business and made over $125,000 yearly. But then he went through horrible divorce.

You can tell by the character of his face that Terry has been on the streets for some time. He has survived thirty three years of homelessness.

After getting out of the Marines he started to travel. He says traveling gets into your blood.

You may see an old man that probably has had too much to drink. What I see is a Vietnam Era Vet, who is a kind man, doing the best he can to forget the madness of his past life and present situation.

As the saying goes - before you judge someone, walk a mile in his shoes. Alcoholics are real people and everyone has a story.

  • Why are you so eager to shut him up?

  • @BigDickBlaque @litezor21's response was correct. There are time limits on YouTube. Being honest, I will sit and talk to people like Terry all day long. I love street people. I find them honest and more tolerant of others. But videos must be kept short and this one was getting near the end allowed time.

  • @viewer362 Why pity someone like that? Maybe just because he didn't do anything wrong to you or to anybody. Oh yea we can also think that Hitler had a great plan to solve the problem of homeless or "weak" people. Was your life always such easy and you always knew what to do?

Do you even know what it means to have a real problems like bad parents or no parents, living in the shitty / patologic area etc? I don't think so. It's so easy to derogate someone's problems

  • @invisiblepeopletv I'm surprised they haven't partnered you yet.

  • I find it incredible, how easy it is to judge people, without knowing the first thing about them, what they've been through. There many vets who are all but forgotten by society, once they come home. Basically, this guy is trying to survive as best as he can with psychological trauma dulled by alcohol. Nixon was also an alcoholic, but held in higher esteem. Most corporate types + hedge fund managers wouldn't be able to survive on the streets for a week without asking THIS guy for advice.

  • He said he's been on the streets for 30+ years,he's homeless because he and his wife had a (crucial?) divorce, they had 3 kids and drew a mutual agreement, he had his own business in landscaping, then hes rambling about overhang?, crucial divorce? Plenty of couples have gotten divorced, but few end up homeless! The dude just doesn't want to stop and think and take responsibility for his life and actions. Why pity someone like that?!

  • @viewer362 did you read the discreption ,if you don't i'll tell you the best part which is before you judge anyone walk a mile in there shoes!

  • @invisiblepeopletv make a part 2 then.

  • @viewer362 maybe he likes his life more than he would yours, did you ever think of that? Jesus never had a home. Would you also he he wasn't doing the best he can?

  • @viewer362 hey bro yeah I see that too, trust me it's pretty obvious but we should still feel sorry for him. Obviously if he's still alive he's trying at least at the basic things. There's only certain ways to get away from being homeless and I'm guessing he just doesn't know how to get out. Well anyways we should just feel sorry for the guy, his life could have gone a lot better ya know? Well anyways no hard feelings bro (or sis), it's just my own opinion.

  • i feel bad for him, i would do whatever i could to help him if i could

  • wait, he has children??? why don't they help him!!!!.....i would never ever let my father be homeless.
