  • @fa6118 At least one has to have a connection to your router. the other 15 MOCA devices can be anywhere connected as intended on your home cable wiring. The router give out the addressing(ip addresses) to the devices and helps give you connection to the internet . Without it its just a static bridge.

    Hey man, just read your comment about having to have a router in order for all of this to work. I just had one question. Does the Moca bridge box need to be connected to the router in order fort this all to work? Or can I have my router in my basement, and this moca bridge on a higher level?

  • Just a note, you have it on your map but you didn't mention you still need a router or static IP's to make this all tick. Also maybe its changed but I had the impression from my NetGear MoCA that 3hd signals was the possible max and that's with 1.1.
